Sky Babylon was long forgotton. When Princess Celestia banished Luna (Nightmare Moon at the time), Sky Babylon helped her big sister. However, when they got near the moon, Sky had accidentally flew in front of Celestia and, consequently, was forced into the orbit of the moon alongside Luna. Had she had not flew in front, she wouldn't have got stuck on the moon.
