Sun Flare is a pegasus and get's her name from her light she is. Her mane and tail are on fire, and her cutie mark is fire. Her coat is red, and she is very bright and happy. She often flies and sometimes helps Princess Celestia alight the sky. She likes playing with both Princesses.

When Sun Flare entered the Best Young Fly Compertiton, she won after she did a Sonic Sunboom, alighting the sky into huge flames. Her mane and tail have been on fire ever since, and she got her cutie mark.
